Strategic Planning and Assessment

The act of  of engaging in systematic self study, based on established criteria, in and of itself has incredible value to programs. It enables programs to engage faculty and find agreement on the program’s overall mission and showcase indicators of programmatic success (student competencies, faculty achievements, as well as other program accomplishments and impacts), while working toward continuous improvement. With a robust approach to strategic planning and self-evaluation, accreditation becomes the process whereby which programs articulate how their processes demonstrate conformance to the NASPAA Standards.
