COPRA is pleased to announce the release of its Annual Accreditation Data Report! The 2012-13 Report provides increased insight into our field, and the faculty, students, and alumni of our accredited programs. Thank you to each NASPAA-accredited program for providing the data in the report.
In the three years NASPAA has published this report, we have continued to move forward with robust data collection. With each additional year of data, we are able to tell more of your story and to show the strengths of our programs, students, faculty, and alumni.

COPRA is pleased to release the updated NASPAA Site Visit Manual, the comprehensive guide to site visits for both programs and site visitors. COPRA, using the feedback from focus groups, site visitor surveys, and external expert site visitors, incorporated changes into the site visit manual with the goal of more explicitly explaining the role of the site visitor and providing additional guidance to visitors and programs.
Are you a graduate student passionate about higher education and public service? NASPAA has an exciting Fall 2014 internship opportunity, ideal for a graduate student interested in higher education leadership, program assessment, international education, or nonprofit management.
Primary responsibilities are expected to include, depending on qualifications and interest:
• Researching and writing a report on the state of outcomes assessment at NASPAA-accredited schools, including how programs are measuring learning and impact.
• Supporting NASPAA’s efforts to assess quality outside of the United States, including researching quality assurance in different regions and helping to support peer review visits globally.
Please e-mail your letter of interest and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org, using the subject line “Application for Fall Internship”. A list of references will be required from candidates selected as finalists.

On behalf of my COPRA colleagues, welcome to the newly redesigned NASPAA Accreditation Website! COPRA remains committed to ensuring that programs have the guidance and resources needed to succeed in accreditation, and we have rebuilt our website to make it easier for you to find and share resources. COPRA is the cornerstone of the rigorous, peer review process that has been the foundation of NASPAA Accreditation for almost 40 years. The NASPAA Accreditation Standards are the quality benchmark used by graduate public service programs around the world. Accredited programs contribute to the knowledge, research, and practice of public service, establish observable goals and outcomes, and use information about their performance to guide program improvement. They practice truth in advertising and ensure their students achieve learning objectives in five domains essential to public service.
With the redesigned website, we have focused not only on improving accessibility through easy to navigate menus, but also on bolstering the resources for new programs, program directors, and site visitors. To learn more, see the details below.
Thank you for visiting! If you have questions or feedback, I look forward to hearing from you at email@example.com.
